Smoothie Recipe’s for those with Digestive Disorders

Remember those good old days, when we could eat anything we wanted and our body wouldn’t complaint one bit?  For those of us who suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), many times it gets tiring to eat the same food all the time.  We know of some of our clients that eat literally the same food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for weeks at a time.

Its not easy at all, but we know we have to eat healthy because our bodies will be happy, our symptoms won’t get worse and we’ll feel good too, most of the time. It’s a win- win, yet we can’t ignore those sweet cravings we get from time to time, especially if we had a sweet tooth once. The reality is that many of us can’t get used to eating all that new healthy stuff at all and we do miss our favorite snacks even though they may not be so good for us anymore.

Well, how about we suggest something new, fun and refreshing for these perfect Summer Days?  And the great news is that they are Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) friendly recipes!

Today, we bring you 3 delicious Smoothie Recipes, which will surely put a smile on your face, especially if you have a sweet tooth.  When smoothies are done correctly, they are the perfect way to pack a powerful nutritional punch in an easy, quick and portable meal.  These yummy smoothies are a great option if you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or other digestive diseases. Besides, they will definitely break the routine from your regular breakfast or snack, so why not give them a try, right?

For your convenience, we’ve separated which recipes will work better for you according to your symptoms, but be aware that not all recipes will give good results to everyone, so omit any ingredient that you already know won’t work well for you already.

Last, but not least:

• Don’t forget the secret ingredient! Empty out some of our Digestinol capsules into your smoothie.

• Always use organic fruit and vegetables and stay away from cow’s milk, soy milk and rice milk.

• As for the seeds, (if you’re able to handle seeds) it’s good to first try ½ – 1 small teaspoon, see how you feel, then work your way up to 3 teaspoons as a great way to round out your belly-friendly smoothie!

• If you have an actual smoothie maker at home or want to buy one, you can add some ice, or freeze your fruit so that they are used as ice cubes.

Smoothies for people who suffer from diarrhea:

1. Berry Delish Smoothie

• 1 Cup of Almond Milk (Get the one with the lowest amount of sugar)

• 2 Strawberries

• 3 Raspberries

2. Tropical Paradise

• 1/2 Coconut milk

• 1/2 Banana

• 1 Strawberry

3. Jungle Adventure

• 1 Cup of Almond Milk (Get the one with the lowest amount of sugar)

• 2 Strawberries

• 1 Raspberry

• 1 small Pineapple chunk

• 1/2 of a handful of Spinach leafs or Kale leafs

An important note, these smoothies are usually great for people who suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and have symptoms of constipation and/or diarrhea, but they may not work well for everyone. The trick is to try just a little bit first (half of an actual small glass) in the morning and see how it works with your body. If it works great, have the other half the next day. And follow that routine for a week or so. Then you can start to enjoy the full glass if you notice your body takes it well.  Also, the amount of fruit suggested is low for a particular reason, as it’s about half of what a person who doesn’t suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) will take.

If you didn’t know, smoothies allow you to take in larger amounts of some super foods and because they are blended, it may be easier for your digestive system to handle. The “good” bacteria in your gut will be happy by the increase of plant foods that your smoothie can provide.

Happy, healthy gut bacteria are less likely to cause abdominal pain, gas and bloating and motility problems. Having an optimal bacterial balance in your belly is also beneficial for your overall health.

Hope you enjoy these by the pool or on the porch!

Digestinol

Digestinol is an all-natural supplement that helps support and promote digestive health as well as support your immune system. Its biggest benefit is the ability to target and reduce inflammation within your digestive system. Inflammation along your digestive system is one of the main reasons for pain/discomfort associated with digestive disorders. It can help with both constipation as well as diarrhea, because it gets your body back to normal so the amount of fluid in your colon is regulated the way it should be.

What is Digestinol?

Our product contains AMP (Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides) which is an all-natural molecule found in the aloe vera plant. It is known to enhance the body’s immune system due to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. We have a 97-98% success rate reported from people who take Digestinol as directed for 90 days or longer.

If you are not interested in prescription medications to treat your condition and prefer a more natural approach, Digestinol makes all-natural capsules that contain a very specific form of Aloe Polysaccharides to target the inflammation along your digestive tract.

These capsules also provide your body with the nutrients that it is lacking in order to take back control of itself. Digestinol isn’t just Aloe Vera powder, Aloe Vera (contains Aloein) which irritates your digestive system and can cause diarrhea. Digestinol undertakes very specific additional steps in order to remove the Aloein during their extraction process to focus on only the beneficial portions of the Aloe Leaf, the long chain Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharide molecules.

Since Digestinol is 100% all-natural it doesn’t bring along the side effects that other chemically based prescription medications have. We tell our customers to think of Digestinol as an all-natural digestive system specific vitamin that reduces inflammation and provides your body with specific nutrients that allow it to take back control of itself.

Our Digestinol capsules will also help to balance the good and bad bacteria levels in your body allowing it to regain control of its normal operations.
