Crohn’s Disease

Digestinol, Colonoscopy, IBS, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohns, Ulcerative Colitis, colitis

Crohn’s Disease is a serious condition that can’t be cured. It is a type of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) that causes chronic inflammation in your digestive tract, which runs from your mouth to your anus. It affects your small or large intestine and in some cases, it affects both intestines.

There’s no exact answer found yet as to what causes this kind of disease. Doctors believe it is heredity, your immune system and environmental factors may also play a key role.

This disease can begin at any age and can affect both women and men equally. Most people are diagnosed between ages 15 and 35. If you are diagnosed with this disease, chances are you have a parent, sibling or child who already suffers from Crohn’s Disease.

So how do you diagnose Crohn’s Disease and see if you have it? Your doctor will have you take a blood test to check for possible anemia or infection. Your stool will also be examined for signs of infection.  Other tests can include:

  • Colonoscopy – This is when your doctor inserts a flexible tube with a camera through your anus to examine your large intestine. Most of the times, this procedure is done under anesthesia and you won’t feel or remember anything.
  • Sigmoidoscopy – This procedure is very similar to Colonoscopy, but besides checking your colon, your doctor will also examine your rectum.

Your doctor may also suggest doing these other tests:

  • A biopsy of the lining of your colon
  • A capsule endoscopy
  • A Barium enema

In order to treat Crohn’s Disease on a patient who tests positive, medicine and surgery will be suggested by your doctor. The goal of the treatment is to control your inflammation and reduce pain and symptoms, with the hope of having you experience life with periods of remission.

Meaning that by treating and managing Crohn’s Disease, you can still enjoy a full life. Although, it will require more planning and preparation in your daily lifestyle. All this extra work will help reduce your symptoms and you might even be able to have long-term periods when you have no symptoms at all, as mentioned above. Consult with your doctor, so you both can work towards a treatment plan and changes in your current lifestyle that will work great for you.

Now what happens if you don’t treat Crohn’s Disease? By not treating it, it will lead you to other complications, such as blockage, ulcers, fistulas, fissures and nutritional deficiencies. The worst will be that it also increases the risk of having colon cancer. So if you are having flare-up symptoms as described below, please make an appointment to visit your doctor as soon as possible.

  • Loose Bowel Movements: The inflammation causes cells in your intestines to release salt and extra water, and because your colon can’t absorb them, you’ll get watery, loose stools
  • Abdominal cramping and pain: Long term inflammation causes the walls of your intestine to thicken with scar tissue. This leads to blockage in your digestive tract. Nausea and vomiting are also common.
  • Bloody stools: As food travels through your digestive tract, it can make inflamed tissue bleed. You may also bleed during bowel movements, if you have tears in the lining of your anus. This can be painful as well.
  • Reduced weight loss and appetite: You may not feel like eating if you are having cramps and pain. Crohn’s Disease can also affect how well you digest your food.

Remember that because this is a chronic disease, you will always have it, but if you treat it you can keep it from “flaring up”. Symptoms may occur all of the sudden. They can decrease or disappear for a while and come back again. Sometimes they are mild, other times are severe. When you are having severe pain, symptoms like fatigue and fever are common.

How can Digestinol help?

Digestinol is an all natural supplement that helps support and promote digestive health as well as support your immune system.  Its biggest benefit is the ability to target and reduce inflammation within your digestive system.  Inflammation along your digestive system is one of the main reasons for pain/discomfort associated with digestive disorders.

What is Digestinol?

Our product contains AMP (Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides) which is an all-natural molecule found in the aloe vera plant. It is known to enhance the body’s immune system due to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. We have a 97-98% success rate reported from people who take Digestinol as directed for 90 days or longer.

If you are not interested in prescription medications to treat your condition and prefer a more natural approach, Digestinol makes all-natural capsules that contain a very specific form of Aloe Polysaccharides to target the inflammation along your digestive tract.

These capsules also provide your body with the nutrients that it is lacking in order to take back control of itself. Digestinol isn’t just Aloe Vera powder, Aloe Vera (contains Aloin) which irritates your digestive system and can cause diarrhea. Digestinol undertakes very specific additional steps in order to remove the Aloin during their extraction process to focus on only the beneficial portions of the Aloe Leaf, the long chain Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharide molecules.
